Experience in integrating technology applications into curricula at units

Agreeing to implement the Project, the Faculties/Institutes, Program Directors, Heads of Departments actively shared the process of applying technology to the curriculum at the unit. In it, there are many ideas and suggestions for effective implementation.

Looking at the economic perspective, Dr. Pham Khanh Nam – Dean of the Faculty of Economics of UEH shared the Faculty’s digital economy integration program with two main parts: technology and technology (digital data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence AI…) and economic/business models shaped by technology (Grab, Mai Linh…). In particular, in the business model, there are new models appearing and the digital transformation of old models.

From understanding these trends, the Faculty will set out specific requirements and integration strategies for training programs (output standards, technology integration in subjects, new subjects); research (studying an old problem but using technology, researching for a completely new problem/model); cooperate and associate with experts and businesses to hear the needs of the market and find problems. Based on these requirements, each Faculty will develop specific action plans.

Besides, Faculties should have extra-curricular courses in cooperation with pioneering technology application enterprises, signing with enterprises to create opportunities for students to have practical sessions, visit related technology. to your field of study. As for the curricula, it is necessary to replace the traditional subjects that are no longer relevant to reality and introduce technology-applied subjects. Currently, many businesses have built virtual reality environments to train new employees, or program technology games for employees to understand corporate culture. Therefore, it is proposed to research to build effective modules, technology games or software for students’ practice.

In particular, faculties need to clarify how technology application content plays in their fields of study.”

To fulfill the above requirements, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh asked faculties to perform a number of key tasks to enhance technology application in the 2021-2022 training program, coordinate internal resources and outside, learn from partners’ experiences.
