On the morning of March 15, 2022, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and University of Information Technology (UIT) – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for the period of 2022 – 2027, marking a comprehensive cooperation relationship in the field of science and technology. in the fields of training, scientific research, technology transfer, international cooperation and administration, thereby jointly enhancing the position in the country and the world.<\/em><\/p>\n

The signing ceremony took place at room A116, University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City. Thu Duc, City. Ho Chi Minh.<\/p>\n

Attending the Signing Ceremony, from the UEH side, there were: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Rector of UEH; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet – Chairwoman of the Strategic and Policy Advisory Council; together with leaders of UEH units\/departments.<\/p>\n

On the UIT side, there were the participation of: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vu Duc Lung – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of UIT; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh – Rector of UIT; Dr. Nguyen Luong Thuy Ngan – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang – Vice Rector; together with leaders of UIT units\/departments.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Overview of the signing ceremony between UEH and UIT<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Rector of UEH expressed his joy and excitement at the cooperation of UEH and UIT. He shared: “On behalf of the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, we are very pleased that today we signed a memorandum of understanding of comprehensive cooperation with the University of Information Technology – Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City, which shows the steps as well as the development. The development of the two schools is in line with the trend of the times. In 2021, UEH carried out the restructuring process into a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, launching 3 member schools, including the UEH School of Technology and Design (CTD). On the basis of strengthening cooperation with partners and especially UIT, we very much hope that with the peculiarities of technology, design and economy, it will create breakthrough and comprehensive steps of the company. CTD and UIT in the near future. We all know that the economy is a pillar, a foundation of the country during the past time and recently, information technology has also started to follow the economic footsteps and become an important field. important, closely related to the development of the economy in the period of Industry 4.0. According to the signed minutes, UEH and UIT will cooperate in the following areas:<\/p>\n

Cooperation in the field of training:\u00a0<\/strong>through the joint development and implementation of training programs at undergraduate\/graduate level, towards the recognition of training credits between the two Universities; Exchange students, trainees, lecturers and experts; Coordinating in organizing training and retraining to improve qualifications for managers and lecturers; Exchanging experience in building, opening new training, quality assurance, program evaluation; Exchange of experience in training management; Share resources for teaching and scientific research.<\/p>\n

Cooperation in scientific research:<\/strong> \u00a0 Cooperate in the development and implementation of research programs, schemes and projects; Chairing and co-chairing the organization of national and international scientific seminars and conferences; Exchange of databases and learning materials; Cooperate in promoting the transfer of scientific research results, technology application, and international publication and publication; Exchange of experiences in science and technology management of the two universities.<\/p>\n
